One of the most important issues in the future Islamic system is women’s rights, education, employment, and their role in government and society. Before explaining this topic, I would like to write the following verse of the Holy Quran:

وَقَرۡنَ فِىۡ بُيُوۡتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجۡنَ تَبَرُّجَ الۡجَاهِلِيَّةِ الۡاُوۡلٰى
Translation: And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance

Given that our last 18 years have been for the sake of Jihad Allah and the establishment of an Islamic and Sharia system, it is clear that women’s rights will also be given within the ambit of Islam, the Qur’an, and Sharia. According to the above verse, women are commanded to stay indoors and not to show off. However, given the current situation in which women need to be educated, women are allowed to study with the following points in mind.

  • Girls should leave home in sharia dress and hijab and go to school. The dress that women wear in the current system will not be acceptable.
  • Girls’ education should be limited. Girls will be allowed to study in areas where they are needed in the community and which are not in conflict with Islamic and Sharia principles. Such as medicine, Islamic teachings, and teacher training colleges. There is no need for girls to get educated in economics, engineering, and other fields.
  • Girls should definitely study separately from boys. Co-education is against all Islamic and Sharia rules and paves the way for prostitution in society. We cannot accept in our homeland what is customary in non-Islamic countries. Our culture and religion never allow girls to be educated in such an environment.

Another issue is women working outside. It should be made clear that in an Islamic government, men and women are not allowed to work in one office. Like education, women’s work areas will be limited and exclusive. There is no need for women in areas where men can work. For example, women are not allowed to appear on television, they are not allowed to work in the courts, judiciary, and men in ministries and other offices.
