HERAT, July. 04 – According to reports enemy troops that launched operations in Poshgan and Buland Aab areas of Pashtun Zerghoon district some three days ago came under Mujahideen attacks and sparked heavy clashes that lasted for about 72 hours and ended this morning after forcing the enemy to flee suffering heavy corporeal and materialistic losses.
Details say, as many as 11 tanks have been destroyed by IED blasts and attacks, killing 18 puppets and leaving a further 18 including Herat province police chief – Ubaidullah Norozi deadly wounded while 1 AK rifle, 2 binoculars and other equipment were seized by Mujahideen.
A civilian was martyred and 2 others wounded from enemy shelling in the area.
